Tally

The books most of Indian mid-market actually runs on.

TallyPrime and Tally.ERP 9 hold the ledger for a very large share of Indian companies — including plenty with a global ERP sitting above them. OHM reads what Tally already holds and posts back into it, without asking anyone to leave Tally.

What OHM reads, what it writes back

Reads from Tally

  • Purchase register and the daybook, as XML or Excel export
  • Ledger vouchers and outstanding payables by party
  • Vendor masters, including GSTIN and PAN held against the ledger
  • Stock and receipt entries where goods are tracked in Tally

Writes back into Tally

  • Purchase and journal vouchers, posted against the correct ledger
  • TDS and GST detail on the voucher, not as a later adjustment
  • The check trail against each entry, so the finding stays attached to the voucher
What it never touches

Tally stays your system of record. OHM does not hold your books, does not become a second ledger, and does not need Tally replaced or upgraded to work.

Where you start

An export, not a project. An export your team already produces — a purchase register for a period is enough to run the savings check. A live connection over Tally's XML interface comes later, when you want it.

Tally is where the India-specific work matters most: GSTIN validity, filing status before credit, TDS section and rate, and MSME clocks all sit against the party ledger, and are exactly what generic finance AI does not model.

What runs against it

The same team, whichever system holds the books. The checks depend on the contract, the PO and the receipt — not on one ERP’s schema.

Run it on 90 days of your own Tally data.

One export. No connector, and nothing to install.
